FAQ Is this a real vector SVG? Yes. ImageTracer traces colored paths rather than embedding the original bitmap. Photos and fine details may simplify or change; the editor previews the tracing input.
Which preset should I choose? Logo uses two colors for simple marks, Posterized uses four colors with smoothing, and Detailed uses up to 64 colors. Download the SVG for scalable artwork.
Is tracing private, and which licence applies? Tracing runs locally. The self-hosted imagetracerjs 1.2.6 library loads only for this tool and uses the Unlicense (public domain); see /vendor/imagetracer/LICENSE. Each SVG download counts once.
